Through interactive exhibits with state-of-the-art audiovisual effects, film and hands-on components, the International Spy Museum traces the evolution of espionage through the people who practice the profession and provides a context for guests to interpret the role intelligence plays in current events.
The Museum`s permanent exhibition presents the tradecraft of espionage and showcases the ingenuity and imagination of real-life spies and spymasters. Guests adopt a cover, break codes, identify disguised spies, and become the subjects of covert surveillance throughout their visit. James Bond may be the best known spy in the world, but he is nothing without his enemies. Exquisitely Evil: 50 Years of Bond Villains places 007 and his adversaries in historical context, exploring how the evildoers and their plots have changed to reflect their times. Guests will explore the connection of fantasy espionage to reality through; classic film and audio clips, interviews with real intelligence community members, psychological profiles of the villains, immersive environments and exciting interactive experiences. Guests will see more than 100 artifacts from the archives of EON Productions, producers of the Bond film series, many on public display for the first time.
